Our mission
Our core values
Harvest Outreach Center seeks to empower children and families to realize personal dignity by working to eliminate obstacles that impede the realization of one’s full potential. The vision of Harvest Outreach Center is for ALL people to lead capable, fulfilled lives in strong families and healthy communities.
Organizational values can not be 'set'; they must be discovered. A team of staff from all levels of the organization met to discover the values that have existed all along. As a result, we are pleased to present our four core values, Honesty, Humility, Humanity and Healing, or what we fondly call the Heart of Harvest.
Core values are the essence of a company's identity- they represent the principles, beliefs, and philosophy of the organization. At Harvest, we strive for superb alignment with our core values to reinforce our purpose, and to stimulate continued progress towards our goals. All decisions, large or small are made in accordance to our core values. These values are the blueprint by which the organization derives its integrity.
Harvest Outreach Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to providing school- based mental health services to youth in Campbell County and Lynchburg City.
